Job Summary

Galt & Taggart is an investment bank licensed by the National Bank, offering brokerage, investment banking, and research services. The company provides clients access to local and international stock markets and enables them to purchase various types of securities. It also assists issuers with the issuance and distribution of securities and conducts both macroeconomic and sectoral research.

The Brokerage Department announces a vacancy for the position of Head of Sales Unit. This is a leadership role responsible for managing the sales team, developing and implementing strategies, attracting new clients, and driving the growth of the brokerage business. The candidate will work closely with team members as well as various internal departments to achieve the company's goals.

 

Main Responsibilities:


Team Management and Development:

  • Effectively manage the sales team, develop motivational schemes and KPI/KBO systems, and monitor performance.

  • Recruit new employees, provide their training and mentorship, and oversee their professional development.

  • Distribute tasks within the team and manage deadlines.

Sales Strategy and Client Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new funds and assets.

  • Identify new major clients, organize meetings, and present brokerage services.

  • Manage the database of potential clients (leads) generated from social media and other channels.

Communication and Partnerships:

  • Collaborate closely with various internal and group-level departments (Marketing, IT, Operations, etc.) to optimize processes.

  • Conduct training for WM and Solo bankers to increase awareness of capital market products.

  • Develop the referral network and manage relationships with partners.

  • Participate in marketing activities, communicate with the media, and represent the company at public events.

 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Management.

Experience:

  • 4-5 years of experience in the financial markets and customer service;

  • At least 2 years of managerial experience is desirable.

Required Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of investment products.

  • Languages: Fluency in English and at least one other language is required.

  • Developed communication and negotiation skills.

  • Leadership, team management, and motivational skills.

  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.

  • High ethical and professional standards.
